Future Residents

Future Residents

Future residents, at this point in your journey, someone is recommending you continue building your future in a supportive environment. We are glad you found us, and congratulations on taking this step to investigate options for pursuing a healthy lifestyle. This time in your life can be very stressful and difficult to face alone. Reaching out is a powerful and difficult action to take. We are happy you have taken this step to begin meeting your challenges and allowing us to support and guide you through it.

One of the features of LEAD Recovery Center is that we keep the number of clients small in proportion to staff. We believe that individual challenges can vary between clients, and the path to a healthy lifestyle is not the same for everyone. Our program is comprehensive and demanding. However, it is also empowering and supportive, creating a balance that nurtures progress towards a healthy lifestyle. To ensure lifelong achievement, we have created a program that supports the transition from a primary treatment experience to long-term and ongoing evolution and growth.

Clinical Services

We approach these areas through individual and group therapy, outdoor adventure, life coaches, peer mentoring, community networking, life skills, a challenging program, and supportive staff. We have a comprehensive clinical staff for mental health, medication assessment, and management. Our adventure staff and support team are professionals that have long-standing experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. Our peer mentors are all skilled as leaders in the community and as support for our program. All of this support helps us provide individualized attention and address multiple levels of treatment to ensure that our men create better options and opportunities.

Individualized Treatment Plans

We start with an initial phase for becoming acclimated to the house, the surrounding area, and the clinical program. We provide assessments which tell us how to individually prepare your program for clinical consideration, life skills, and adventures. We introduce the life skills program, adventure (immersive natural learning), clinical therapy, community networking, and transitions designed to focus on working towards achieving autonomy. The program is set up with various phases and milestones to promote smooth transitions. You will also meet other peers who have progressed through the program as encouragement that your success can be a reality.

Therapeutic Location

Our program is nestled in Costa Mesa, California, along the Newport Beach Back Bay. We are two miles from the ocean, and less than two hours away from the winter snow. Catalina Island is under two hours by boat, and we are walking distance to major upscale business and shopping centers. There are several community colleges and universities in the area and numerous volunteer organizations. Orange County California has the highest population of young adults in recovery with a strong community based networks of meetings and alano clubs. We are well established in this community and have developed many relationships that support our young men as they journey towards matching their dreams with experience.
