Comprehensive care for addiction & mental health

Whether you're dealing with substance abuse, co-occurring mental health conditions, or both — LEAD Recovery offers individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to your needs.

Understanding Addiction

Recognizing when professional help is needed

Addiction is a chronic and progressive disease focused on compulsive substance seeking and use, regardless of negative consequences. It affects every area of life — family, relationships, work, and health.

A good starting point is to evaluate whether major areas of life are being negatively impacted. Has drug or alcohol use affected family, employment, or health? Have there been legal issues related to use? If so, seeking professional support is the critical next step.

At LEAD, we treat addiction not as a moral failure but as a complex medical condition that responds to evidence-based care, compassionate community, and sustained support.

Quick Self-Assessment

"Is substance use or mental health affecting major areas of your life?"

  • Family and relationships strained
  • Work or school performance declining
  • Physical or mental health worsening
  • Unable to control use despite wanting to
  • Legal issues related to substance use

If any of these resonate, we can help.

What to Expect

Your first steps into treatment

Beginning treatment can feel overwhelming. Here is an honest, compassionate look at what detox and residential care actually look like at LEAD — so you can walk in knowing exactly what to expect.

Phase One 🏥
Medical Detox
"Safe, supervised, and supported."

Detox is the process of clearing substances from your body under medical supervision. At LEAD, this is done with compassion and clinical care — you are never alone. Our medical team monitors your safety around the clock and manages withdrawal symptoms to keep you as comfortable as possible.

1

Arrival & Assessment

A full medical and clinical intake assessment is completed. Your team reviews your history, current health, and substance use to build your personalized detox plan.

2

Medical Monitoring

Licensed medical staff monitor vitals, withdrawal symptoms, and comfort throughout. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available when clinically appropriate.

3

Stabilization

As your body stabilizes, light therapeutic activities begin — including individual check-ins, rest, nutrition, and gentle introduction to the LEAD community.

4

Transition to Residential

Once medically cleared, you transition seamlessly into the residential program. Your clinical team carries your full history forward — no starting over.

Duration: Detox typically lasts 5–10 days depending on the substance, usage history, and individual health factors. Our medical team determines the appropriate length for each client. Throughout this process, clients are encouraged to advocate for themselves by sharing feedback with our team — your voice helps us continuously improve the treatment experience.
Phase Two 🏡
Residential Program
"Structure, community, and real growth."

Residential treatment at LEAD is designed to feel like a home, not a facility. You'll live in a supportive shared environment while engaging in 20+ hours per week of clinical programming, life skills development, and community building. Every day is structured with purpose — and every moment is an opportunity to grow.

1

Daily Structure

Each day includes individual therapy, group sessions, life skills work, meals, physical activity, and community time. Structure is a cornerstone of early recovery.

2

Clinical Programming

20+ hours per week of evidence-based therapy — CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy, family sessions, and more — all tailored to your individual treatment plan.

3

Life Skills & Coaching

Work one-on-one with a personal coach on finances, employment, nutrition, and goal-setting — practical tools for the life you're building outside of treatment.

4

Community & Adventure

Weekend outdoor activities, 12-step meetings, meditation, and peer support create the joyful, connected foundation that sustains long-term sobriety.

5

Legal & Family Coordination

When needed, our team works directly with courts, attorneys, and CPS to support clients navigating legal or family obligations — ensuring treatment and outside responsibilities are managed together, not in conflict.

6

Aftercare Planning

Before discharge, we coordinate a personalized aftercare plan — connecting each client to outpatient programs, sober living, support groups, and community resources that align with their individual needs and goals.

Duration: Residential length of stay is 30–35 days. Throughout the program, clients are encouraged to advocate on their behalf by letting the team know through our feedback loop how we can continue to improve and offer the best possible treatment experience.

Common signs that treatment is needed

Addiction and mental health conditions often go unrecognized — especially when they develop gradually. Here are signs that professional support can make a meaningful difference.

  • Inability to stop or control substance use despite repeated attempts
  • Withdrawal symptoms when not using — physical or psychological
  • Using substances to cope with stress, anxiety, or emotional pain
  • Isolation from family, friends, and activities once enjoyed
  • Significant changes in mood, behavior, or personality
  • Neglecting work, school, or home responsibilities
  • Persistent feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, or depression
  • Legal or financial problems connected to substance use
